The sweet one does not stay that way. This Amy Peterson figure model kit gives Diklich Art's treatment to Amanda Bearse's transformation in Fright Night (1985), caught at the moment the mouth opens wider than a face should allow.
The Mouth Is the Whole Sculpt
The jaw splits far past anything human, and the sculpt commits to it completely: a double row of pointed teeth curving back into the throat, long canines set top and bottom, the tongue and the roof of the mouth carved out behind them. The eyes have rolled to blank white under a hard-drawn brow, and deep creases fan from the nose across both cheeks where the face has stretched to make room. It is the practical effect the film is remembered for, translated into resin without softening any of it.
Around that, the human details hold the piece together — long wavy hair carved strand by strand and falling well past the shoulders, a bare collarbone and throat pulled taut, and a draped garment slipping off one shoulder in loose folds. The bust sits on a stepped plinth finished with a twisted rope moulding, her name cut into a recessed panel across the front in a flowing script.
