Black Sails gave Edward Teach a face worth the legend. This figure model kit from VS3D captures Blackbeard as Ray Stevenson played him: older than the myth, entirely unhurried, and still the most dangerous man on the water.

Armed for a Boarding Action

VS3D poses Teach mid-command, one flintlock levelled down his outstretched arm and a bandolier of four more slung across his chest where he can reach them without ever stopping to reload. The costume is where the sculpt spends its patience: lace edging the brim of the tricorne, embroidered panels running down the long coat and breeches, a woven sash knotted over the belt, an ornate powder flask riding at the hip and a blade hung ready beside it. He stands on the hull of a beached longboat with rope lashed across the timbers, a tattered Jolly Roger planted at his heel and a nameplate set into the display base. The kit includes alternate head portraits — a full head of hair or a shaved head — and the tricorne fits either one.
