She was always there. You were simply never small enough to notice. This figure model kit from CA 3D Studios sets Flower Fairy stepping down out of an open blossom, arms flung wide, wings still catching the air behind her.
Everything Grown, Nothing Stitched
CA 3D Studios has built the costume out of the garden itself. The bodice is assembled from overlapping leaves, each one veined and curling at its edge, torn away at the hip into ragged points and cinched at the waist with a length of twisted cord. Against all that texture the skin is left smooth, and the wings — two pairs of them, a broad upper set and a smaller lower one — are cut thin and ribbed with fine branching veins that read differently from every angle. Her hair is cropped short and choppy, her ears drawn to a point, her gaze turned up and away. Beneath her the blossom is the base: broad ruffled petals opening around a crowded cluster of stamen, mounted on a smooth oval plinth, and easily as much of the sculpt as the fairy standing in it.
