Heracles - The Hydra's Bane is a figure model kit from CA 3D Studios of the Greek hero in the middle of his second labour, a blade raised over his head as the Hydra's serpent heads close in around him.
Hero Against the Hydra
Heracles kneels into the fight with one arm driving the blade upward and the other bracing against the coils. He wears the skin of the Nemean lion as a hood, its open jaws framing his own face, which is twisted into a roar. The Hydra wraps the whole composition: thick, heavily scaled bodies loop around him and rise behind, ending in several separate heads, each with its own crest, horns and open, toothed jaws. Below them, a base of breaking waves carries a nameplate reading HERAKLES. With this many interlocking elements, the kit is split into a large number of parts, and the parts render shows the full breakdown.
