A Whole Scene on One Spiral Hill
Everything is staged on a single curl of snow, ringed by a cobblestone rim and marked with the film's logo on a leaning headstone. Jack's coat and cap are worked with a knit weave across every panel, with sculpted fur at the collar, cuffs and pompom, and his skull carries the stitched grin and deep hollow sockets that the close-up render leans on. Sally sits in the open coffin with her hands folded, her patchwork dress raised in spirals and frayed at the hems, stitched seams running across her face, throat and shoulder. Behind them the crate is packed to spilling with Halloween Town's idea of toys, and the sleigh runs out over the hill on scrolled iron runners with a skeletal reindeer head at the prow.
