Twin pistols, lowered. Lead Us Into Temptation - Sister Grace is a figure model kit sculpted by Kuton Figurines as an original pulp noir character — an operative of the Order of the Black Halo who has already decided how the night ends.

Confidence, Head to Heel

Nothing in this pose is hurried. Grace stands square with her chin lifted and her eyes half-closed, head turned just off centre, a long-slide semi-automatic hanging muzzle-down from each hand and neither of them raised. Kuton Figurines has run the whole design on one joke held perfectly straight, and the habit is split at the waist to tell it. Above the belt sits a cropped open jacket with wide lapels and sleeves pushed and rolled at the cuff, worn under a veil that falls to her shoulders over a high closed collar. Below the belt, long panels drop from the waistline in clean sheets to either side of her and gather into a train that pools across the base. What the split leaves uncovered is a bandeau top ringed at the centre, a high-cut brief, a wide belt with an oval buckle and a magazine pouch riding each hip, and heeled ankle boots. The drapery is the sculpt's real achievement — heavy, simple folds that read from across a room and reward a close look at the veil and the train — and the oval plinth carries a carved scrollwork rim to finish it. She is the provocative counterpart to Sister Mercy, and she knows it. A striking centrepiece among premium resin models.
