A pirate's fortune, and the man sitting on top of it. This Long John Silver figure model kit from VS3D brings Luke Arnold's John Silver from Black Sails ashore, seated on a locked treasure chest beneath a torn pirate flag.

Holding Court on the Chest

Silver sits on a studded, strap-banded chest with a padlock hanging from its hasp, one boot up on a barrel turned on its side and a cutlass held point-down in his right hand. Coins spill across the sand at his feet. His long, curling hair falls past his shoulders around a trimmed beard and moustache, a pendant hangs on a cord at his throat, and rings sit on both hands. His shirt is worked in pleats and chevron stitching under a long coat with deep skirts and flapped pockets at the back. His left trouser leg ends not in a boot but in a jointed prosthetic brace, set down in the sand beside the chest.

Behind him, a rope-lashed pole carries a tattered flag with a skull device sculpted into the cloth and holes torn through it. The round stepped plinth carries a nameplate with a skull and crossbones and his name.
