Some heroes reach for a rifle. This figure model kit portrays the one who climbed into a cargo exosuit instead — Ellen Ripley, sculpted by Wicked, at the moment she stops running from the Alien Queen and starts walking toward her. Aliens (1986) gave collectors one of cinema's great reversals, and this piece freezes it: a working piece of industrial machinery pressed into service as a weapon, with a furious woman strapped into the middle of it.
Machine and Operator, Sculpted as One
The exosuit is the star of the engineering here. Ripley stands harnessed inside an open roll-bar cage, both hands locked on the control levers, while two enormous articulated claws rear up above her shoulders. Coiled hoses loop between the shoulder housings, ribbed cabling runs down the frame, vented panels and hex-head fasteners cover every surface, and the whole rig plants itself on heavy piston legs and broad footplates. Look closer and the human detail is just as considered — the strap harness cutting across her tank top, the creased cargo trousers, the boot cuffs stencilled with her name, and a portrait caught mid-snarl with teeth bared and brows drawn hard down. It all stands on a sculpted deck plate of grated flooring, conduit runs and a recessed hatch, so the figure reads as a scene rather than a pose. The kit also includes two versions of the left claw: one for solitary display, and one shaped to grasp the Alien Queen's neck if you pair it with her.

Weathered steel, hydraulic grime and one very angry operator — this is a centrepiece that rewards every hour you put into it. Get away from her, and bring the loader home.
