A Throne Built From What Was Left
Kuton Figurines sculpts Plissken at rest rather than mid-fight, and the pose carries the character better than an action stance would. One boot is planted high on a slab of broken concrete, an arm hangs loose over the raised knee, and a suppressed submachine gun lies across his lap where he can reach it without hurrying. The base is assembled from the ruin around him: fractured concrete with rebar twisting out of every break, and a salvaged wheel and tire tipped against the rubble. The finer work sits above the waist, where the knit of the sleeveless top, the strapped wrist unit, the heavy stubble and the eyepatch cutting across his brow build a portrait of a man who has run out of patience and not yet run out of ammunition.
