The Host at His Desk
Diklich Art has built this one as a scene rather than a standing figure. The Crypt Keeper leans forward on a high-backed stone throne, its two spires carved with skull medallions and split by hairline cracks, his skeletal fingers steepled over a heavy leatherbound volume whose cover is worked in ornate embossings. Guttering candles slump into pools of wax at either side, a bare skull rests at his elbow, and the plinth beneath carries the show's own carved logo. The sculpt spares nothing on the host himself — sunken bulging eyes under a heavy ridged brow, a lipless grin of broken teeth, ragged strands of hair falling past a throat of stretched sinew, and a sackcloth robe frayed through at the shoulders and cuffs.
