Horns, Hooves, and a Cloak of Ruin
The silhouette does the first work: two vast ribbed horns sweep back from a heavy brow, wide enough to make the piece read from across a room. Beneath them the face is pure menace — lips peeled off long fangs, eyes narrowed under a furrowed brow, ears drawn to points — and that tension runs down through a bare, veined torso into a wide studded sash and rope-bound legs that end in shaggy cloven hooves. A fur-lined cloak hangs from studded pauldrons and pools across the cobbled base, its ragged inner edge catching the light at every angle of the turntable. One clawed hand lifts as though calling something out of the dark; the other closes around a tall dragon staff. Bare skin against matted fur against cracked stone — the kind of texture work that separates serious collectible resin figures from the merely large, and gives a painter somewhere to spend a long weekend.
