Chains, chrome and a lit cigar. The Main Man - Lobo is a figure model kit from ZEZ Studios that seats DC Comics' last Czarnian on the only throne he would ever accept — his own bike, hauled up onto a rock and still bristling with guns.
The Bike Is the Throne
ZEZ Studios has built the whole piece around a sprawl. He sits low and wide with one armoured boot planted on a horned skull and the other leg thrown out, one arm hooked lazily over the machine beside him, the other punched up overhead with a bladed hook in his fist and a length of heavy chain wound down the forearm past a spiked bracer. The costume is pure biker — an open leather vest over a bare chest, an iron cross swinging from a thick chain, a snarling skull buckle at the waist, fingerless gloves, and star-marked plates strapped over the knees and shoulders. Underneath him the machine is the real showpiece: a front cowl shaped into a fanged, tusked skull, twin gun pods slung beneath it, turbine housings ganged along the flanks, and eight flame-tipped exhaust stacks fanned out behind the seat like a peacock tail. The rock underneath is littered with spent rockets and a clawed hand caught at the rim, and the kit ships with three interchangeable portraits — a shaggy hooded fall of locks with the tongue out, a wild swept-back head with a cigar clamped in a grin, and the same head winking through a broad sneer. There is more here than most collectible resin figures give you in a season.
