Winter has not softened this one. The Unbroken - The Northman is a figure model kit from CA 3D Studios: an old northern warrior planted on a rocky rise, axe in hand and the wind at his back.
Weathered, Armed and Holding His Ground
His long hair is swept back off a lined, scowling face, and a heavy fur mantle covers both shoulders over a bare, muscled chest. A wide wrapped sash and belt hang with rings and straps, his forearms and shins are bound in wrappings, and fur trims his knees and boot tops. The long-hafted axe in his right hand carries carved knotwork on the blade and rope lashing along the haft, with chains and arrowhead pendants swinging from its curled end. A torn cloak streams out behind him.
Turn him around and there is more to find: a round shield slung across his back with a studded rim and two arrows still lodged in its planks, and a drinking horn at his hip. The base is broken rock veined with roots and tufts of grass, with two swords driven into the ground at his feet and a splintered pole trailing a torn banner beside him.
